you know what's the most irritating thing in the world to me right now?
ugly designs. and ugly websites.
bad colours.
ugly fonts.

ugly myspaces with paria-fied combination of colours.
and don't start lecturing me all about why the hell did i go to those sites in the first place if it's ugly?
the reason is simple.
you can't tell what a person's site looks like until AFTER you've been there.

those ain't sights for sore eyes, they're EYESORES.
period.

why am i so irritated today? no particular reason.
i just felt like i'm annoyed.
or maybe i'm neurotic.
whatever.

i'm overly productive lately regarding layouts and designing and it begins to scare me. 3 designs in 2 days!! i'm bordering on OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER!! hahaha.

but i think i'd prefer to call myself an overly excited ARTIST. buahahaha!! poyo sial!!

at long last...

...an update, and a BRAND NEW LOOK!!

yeah, i was getting bored of the old one. hail to POP REVOLUTION, a tribute to the father of all pop arts, ANDY WARHOL. '
anyway, i've got 2 other new designs, one as requested by CRESTFALLEN for their new site and another by jan.

i've nothing much to write, hence the lack of updates.

anyway, to Nora, get back here soon!! it's damn boring just hanging out with jan. haha.

GOODNESS

i'm so bloody crazy over this band, REFUSED. just so you know, i managed to dl their ENTIRE discography with much hardship and finally the effort has paid off! (by effort i meant searching like a madwoman in more that 10 BT sites and search engines, and no i'm not kidding!)

i'm not gonna write anymore on this band as this site gives more than enough info on them.

ahaha, and unless ur blind or just plain ignorant, you can tell that the pics were taken from the same site. anyway, i must say that i'm head over heels in love with new noise, a song taken from their album The Shape Of Punk To Come. and i'm still crazy over that song to make me wanting to listen to it 24/7. haha.

too bad the abhinanda & refused norway tour i've been trying to dl since several days ago refused to budge after passing 40.5%. somebody seed dammit!

my crest has fallen

i knew they were good when i first heard them jam in a small studio in batu pahat but i didn't know that they rock as hell. crestfallen was as good as i expected, and they surely were the best band that night, hands down. however, i must say that the measly sound system didn't do them much justice, especially to the vocalist's since his voice was muffled by the blaring of other instruments. despite all the shortcomings, we were damn straight sure that his voice was really good. as were the rest of the band. heh. i'm officially a fan from last nite on!

Crestfallen are:

anyway, i couldn't find any good copies of their stuff so here are some songs by Uda, one of crestfallen's guitarist. just listen to his voice and any girl would fall for him. :p

oh my gawd, i LOVE this band!!
i've been searching up and down for the full album for almost 3 years on the net after hearing their groundbreaking, life-changing single (to me at least) In Circles and today, i have actually gotten hold of their album - Diary!!!
ahhh, i'm so happy!!

here's a bit of info on them:

The Background:

Vocalist/guitarist Jeremy Enigk, guitarist Dan Hoerner, bassist Nate Mendel, and drummer William Goldsmith first formed Sunny Day Real Estate in 1992. Their debut full-length record, 1994's Diary, by turns powerfully emotional, beautifully melodic, and punchy as hell (often in the same song), quickly established them as favorites amongst fans and critics alike.
The band toured throughout 1994 and in early 1995, and, yes, they really were as good as everyone says they were.

After recording their self-titled second album in March 1995, Sunny Day Real Estate broke up. Sunny Day Real Estate was released by Sub Pop in November of the same year.

Nate and William went on to join Dave Grohl in the Foo Fighters, and Dan opted for something a little more off the beaten path: living and farming in Washington with his new wife and dog. Meanwhile, Jeremy recorded a solo album filled with lush compositions fleshed out with the help of a 21-piece orchestra. Return of the Frog Queen found Jeremy no less passionate for his orchestral inclinations: the solo record draws upon the urgency of punk rock and mixes it with classical instrumentation for stunning results.

beautiful boys

i am a person who really loves beautiful boys. i really do. i must say i don't really dig macho guys with huge biceps and firm pecs, in fact they disgust me. of course a well-toned body is an eyecatcher but a walking piece of beef jerky?
no thank you sir.

i'm not saying that i love thin, anorexic looking guys, but hey, most rockstars are thin lean and anorexic looking and can you honestly tell me that you don't fall for these dreamy-eyed junkies? haha. i dare you to say no.

so after reading nora's blog on nana, i'd like to reinforce my opinion on why these guys should be casted as the leading male characters of NANA THE MOVIE.

instead of that fugly ryuuhei whatever who looked more like a 50 year old auntie, why can't the casting director of NANA the MOVIE hire somebody like Tsukamoto Takashi instead? he'd be the spitting image of ren. just look at him with black hair! throw in a black leather jacket, a pad lock around the neck a'la Sid Vicious and spike up the hair, and presto! a heartthrob worthy of carrying the legend of TRAPNEST's most popular member.
i dare you to challenge me on this. i dare YOU.

SHIN

and coming to the subject of shin's actor, WHY OH WHY did you have to cast such a THING as shin???
my GAWD, these people are majorly BLIND!! @_@
just tell me which part of him (i don't even remember his name for such an embarrassment is not even WORTH remembering) looked even remotely beautiful??? and shin's supposed to be a bishie who's half caucasian and half japanese.
ok, so maybe getting a mat salleh celup (a half) is probably out of the question but the least they could do was hire a GOOD LOOKING japanese! gah!
i wept in sorrow everytime i see the movie trailer. the only good looking thing about him was the lip chain. >_<

thus, my perfect candidate for shin would be YAMASHITA TOMOHISA of Johnny's NEWS. of course, i'd prefer matsujun as shin cos he's capable of fulfilling the role as a super kawaii 16 year old bassist who chain smokes and sleep with women for a living!! haha.
but nora said NO. >_<

there's a rumour that the director of NANA the MOVIE has agreed for a sequel since the motion picture only covered the first 5 volumes of the manga. let's hope for the sake of humanity, the casting director would laser their cataract-filled eyes and submit to my choice of actors. haha.
