i've come to realise that i've been dormant for quite sometime. however since this is just a pet project of mine, meaning, an outlet for me to project my creativity in web designing (haha) thus i don't see any obligation to update this blog of mine.

so what made me change my mind?
well, nothing really. just that recently i've been particularly inspired by these lovely ladies (and gents) and their prowess in songwriting. here are some of my addiction for the mo':

honestly, the frontwoman of the now defunct denali and newly formed ambulette just blows my mind. maura davis' voice is definitely a force to be reckoned with. in my opinion, the best femme singer in indie rock to date. (not that i'm an expert in indierock but from what i've heard so far, hers is definitely on the top of my charts)

listening to denali reminded me of the time when i first heard blonde redhead. only one word can describe them.

gawd how i love melancholic music!!! ahh, can't wait for ambulette to record their first EP.

on a totally different note, my brother just completed KINGDOM HEARTS II, with me watching, cheering and shouting at him all throughout the gameplay of course!!
damn, i love that game mahn, as much as i loved FINAL FANTASY VII. can't wait to play it in ENGLISH!!

and yeah, Passion by Utada Hikaru is beautiful as well. although it took me quite a while to get used to it, what with Hikari as its predecessor. i must confess that listening to Hikari has moved me to tears many times, and no, no bullshit here.

ok, back to the indie femmes again, Azure Ray's November is positively one of the most beautiful songs ever sung. jan if you're reading this, i love you so much for introducing that song to me. you just know me so well...mwah.

wow, this is getting long. haha. anyway, i'm going to this gig on the 31st at Paul's Place. any takers?
